During the past 20 years, Mr. Fuld has been a principal in purchasing retailers and consumer and industrial manufacturing companies. As an active partner, he has also represented various management groups in acquiring targeted medium-sized businesses. His background includes extensive experience in the retail and consumer goods industries, including operating responsibilities. He has also been active in industrial manufacturing, particularly the metal products industry. Before founding the Company in 1979, Mr. Fuld served in various executive positions at two large New York Stock Exchange listed companies. At U.S. Industries, Inc., a diversified Fortune 500 Company, he held several senior positions including Director of Corporate Development. At Athlone Industries, Inc., a diversified manufacturer of consumer goods and metal products, he served as assistant to the CEO and co-managed the Companys sporting goods division. Mr. Fuld is an honors graduate of the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Compensation and Governance Committees of Christopher & Banks, a specialty retailer of women's clothing with over 600 stores. Christopher & Banks is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (symbol: CBK). Formerly, he was Chairman of a $70 million accessories importer and wholesaler of small leather goods, handbags and related products. |
